Home Remedy For Carpal Tunnel Syndrome(CTS)

Carpel Tunnel Syndrome expert and bestselling author Kate Montgomery is highly sceptical of high-dollar products that promise much, but deliver little.

She believes fervently in alternative therapies rather than prescription drugs and surgery – and instructs Carpel Tunnel Syndrome – CTS victims to devise a plan of holistic treatments, but also a change in lifestyle that includes “self-care.” Montgomery may not have coined that term, but she has adopted as her own – describing how the sufferer must aggressively pursue prevention and maintenance strategies that will alleviate the pain of Carpel Tunnel Syndrome CTS.

Among the holistic strategies that she advocates are acupuncture, chiropractic manipulation, massage therapy as well as stretching and strengthening exercises.

No one plan works with everyone, she says. It is important to know when certain therapies are working and when they’re not.

She recommends massage therapy – with the goal of normalizing soft-tissue function. This is important, she says, because it is ineffective to go straight to physical therapy before the body is ready for it.

She strongly advises chiropractic adjustment so as to get the body back into good posture. She also recommends acupuncture to increase blood flow to the affected areas.
